CUESNet has long been a place where CUES members get together virtually to talk over timely industry topics—and to help each other with challenges.

It won’t surprise you, then, that considerations related to COVID-19 have been key topics recently on this online forum. Members have discussed flexible work schedules, remote work, self-care during a crisis, loan modifications and skip-a-pay offerings for members, paid leave for school closings, and supporting staff and board members from a distance. They have also shared sample pandemic plans.

If you’re a CUES member and aren’t following the dialog, we encourage you to do so! Simply login with your membership credentials at cues.org. Then visit cuesnet.cues.org

You can talk about COVID-19 in the main “CUES Member Community” or in the new “COVID-19 Discussion Community.” (You may also want to reference our “Coronavirus Update,” which has updates on the status of CUES events, plus a link to CUES content related to credit unions’ coronavirus response.)

In addition to having COVID-19 conversations, CUESNetters have recently been discussing getting rid of ATMs and the organizational reporting structure for internal audit.

Once you’re logged in to CUESNet, you can add to any of the conversations, start your own discussion, and access and post to the library.

While I have you, I’d like to point out that CUESNet is also an excellent place to learn more about how to get the most from your CUES membership. The “Member Toolbox” tab is designed to help CUES members do a variety of things:

  • Understand the benefits available to Individual, Unlimited and Unlimited+ members
  • Deepen their individual use of their membership
  • Implement the use of CUES membership benefits across their credit unions (such as a staff trainer, company admin or HR leader would do)
  • Understand CUES resources available for credit union board liaisons
  • Access the CUES surveys, including the CUES Executive Compensation Survey and the CUES Employee Salary Survey

If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out! Stay well.
