Check out the new Harvard ManageMentor, plus other benefits of joining CUES during our weekly Learning & Development Month challenges.

At CUES, one of our goals is to make more talent development opportunities accessible to more people in the industry. And online learning is the name of the game right now during the pandemic.

So, I’m super pleased to let you know about our newest membership benefit—access to Harvard ManageMentor® and its array of amazing online courses—is both useful to everyone from new managers to experienced executives and offered completely online.

The Harvard ManageMentor courses teach key concepts through concise lessons, videos and tools for fast and effective learning. The videos feature Harvard University faculty, trusted experts and next-generation emerging leaders. In addition to video, the courses include hundreds of checklists, self-assessments, worksheets, handouts and logs to facilitate the application of new ideas—plus such personalized experiences as goal setting, skill development and action planning.

Harvard ManageMentor courses like “Career Management and Delegating” are designed to help you improve your effectiveness; “Change Management and Coaching” to help you improve your leadership; and “Business Plan Development” to help you better manage key business functions.

I have to note that each of these courses would cost more than $600 per person if a credit union made a direct purchase. CUES is providing CUES Unlimited and Unlimited+ members with access to all 41 courses—so it’s a benefit of exceptional value.

Get engaged with Harvard ManageMentor and the other benefits of your CUES membership during the rest of October as we celebrate Learning and Development Month with special challenges that require using your membership benefits. A drawing will be held each week of the month for one CUES member and one CUES director member to win an individual registration to Knowledge & Networking November or Directors & Dialogue December, respectively.

CUES understands that life gets busy and, more often than not, the goals we have for ourselves and our credit unions get put on the back burner. Rededicate yourself this month to engaging with your CUES membership benefits including Harvard ManageMentor, developing your skills, achieving your goals and keeping your bright mind sharp.
