This month, access a benefit of belonging to CUES that you’re not yet taking advantage of.

Everyone loves getting card rewards points that can be used toward future travel, merchandise, cash back or gift cards. In some cases, points can also be used to attend exclusive events or make donations to charity.

But to get the benefit of having those points, you have to actually redeem them.

The same is true for your CUES membership. When you join CUES, you gain access to a wealth of benefits. But to benefit from them, you have to use them!

I want every CUES member to get the full benefit of their membership. So I challenge you to log in to cues.org (updating your password is easy) and take advantage of one of these top six membership benefits during the next 30 days:

1. Download the CUES Guide to Effective Mentorship

This document was specially designed to help mentors and mentees get the most out of their mentoring efforts.

2. Ask a question on CUESNet that will help you in your work this week.

Click the orange “CUESNet” button in the upper right-hand corner of cues.org. Then choose “Post a Message” in the “Communities” drop-down menu.

3. Consume and share content through CUES Learning Portal.

Click the orange “CUES Learning Portal” button in the upper right-hand corner of cues.org. Then choose “Browse” to see what content is available. Once you’ve found content of interest, click the right-pointing arrow under the content title to share the content with your colleagues.

4. Check out the current and past issues of CU Management magazine.

Click “CU Management: A daily resource for credit union leaders” under the “CUESNet” button on cues.org. Then click the blue “View Magazine” box at the top.

5. See if there’s a regional CUES Council meeting coming up in your area.

On cues.org, choose “Councils” from the “Connect” drop-down menu. Toward the bottom of the page, click on your region.

6. Redeem your CUES member discount by registering for a CUES event.

Visit our Plan Your PD 2020 page and choose a learning offering that fits your need. Click that offering’s “Learn More and Register” button. Then choose “Register” and sign up as a CUES member.

If you have any questions about how to access these or any other of the CUES membership benefits, my team and I are ready to help you.
